In December of 2021, an international consortium of developers and investors including Global Ventures Group, Oxford Capital Group, and Al Otaiba Investments were selected as the winning bid to develop and repurpose the historic Mogamma el Tahrir Complex on Tahrir Square.  The consortium has partnered with The Sovereign Fund of Egypt to redevelop the iconic structure into a groundbreaking mixed-use development known as CairoHouse.​

CairoHouse will include over 500 keys with a mix of hotel rooms and executive apartments, multiple world-class dining and entertainment venues and 6,000 m2 of meeting and event space, including an iconic outdoor venue.​

The Cairo House will be a transformational project for Tahrir Square and Downtown Cairo, celebrating the culture of Egypt and creating a strong foundation for future redevelopment around Tahrir Square and beyond.​
